Download a YouTube playlist in one go
Instead of saving videos one by one, open a playlist, choose the quality or audio format once and download every item. It works for playlists, mixes and a channel's uploads, with live progress for each item.
How to download a playlist
- Open the playlist page on YouTube.
- Click the toolbar icon of the extension and open the Playlist tab.
- Choose a video quality, or an audio format such as MP3, once.
- Start the download. Each item gets its own row with speed and percentage.
Pause, resume and stop
You can pause and resume any download and stop one that is running. Several downloads can run at the same time, and the Downloading list in the menu shows all of them, each with its own stop button.
Great for music and courses
Download a playlist as MP3 to build an offline music library with titles and cover art already in the files, or save a lecture series in 720p to watch on a flight. Choose a smaller quality to save disk space on long playlists.
Good to know
- A playlist can be long. Check how much disk space you have before you start a 4K playlist.
- Private or unavailable videos in a playlist cannot be downloaded.
- Only download what you have the right to save. Read the legal side.
